These are brand new reproduction Peugeot 306 GTi-6 +Rallye / Citroen Xsara VTS Cam Cover Gaskets for the XU10J4-RFS engine (167bhp 16v). They are sold as a pair to do the front and back (intake and exhaust side) cam covers. They are produced in a proper gasket rubber and not a PTFE, which means they seal properly and don’t leak.
Simply remove your old gasket with a sharp knife, clean both mating surfaces up on the cam covers and the engine itself, and you’re good to go.
These are our own product we’ve produced after a lot of trial and error, and they’re rated to well over 200ºc so ideal for even the hottest track-day oil temperatures you could possibly get to.
They have a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the rear so you can apply them to the cam cover themselves, and then lower them in place onto the engine. This saves alignment issues and makes fitment easier.
These are a direct fit and are unavailable anywhere else, and without buying the full cam covers brand new, or second hand with undamaged gaskets. They also combat the leaking PTFE ones that people end up sandwiching in between silicon/RTV, defeating the whole purpose of a gasket.
These require no sealant, and can be used with standard cam covers (snip the little lobes off), or with cam covers that have been altered with the lugs ground down previously (leave gasket as supplied).
This is a new product and until we know demand, we’re working to a 10 day dispatch, but in reality it’ll be much sooner. This is just so we can work delivery times out and keep stock based on demand.
